Second Woods is an experimental new publication produced by o-region. While most magazines on the market pedal out the same old ideas, Second Woods aims to do something different.
Like o-region's film project roughcut, the magazine's aim is to encourage budding new artists, writers and photographers and give them a new forum for their work.
Each issue takes a central theme, and uses it to inspire the magazine's art, design and writing. The trick is: the magazine is made up entirely from original new work by freelance contributors - which means you. If you have an idea for the magazine, or if you've always had the desire to see your writing or artwork in print, we
want to hear from you.
As usual, there's an open submission policy. What we're looking for is fresh, original, exciting and imaginative new work. Writing which pushes the boundaries. Artwork which inspires, amuses, or enrages. Contributions which will make Second Woods the most exciting new magazine project around.
Each issue of the magazine is printed as a limited edition, and the magazine will be available exclusively through o-region or at o-region events. So what are you hanging around for? Get writing, or drawing, or whatever it is you want to do. We're waiting for your work.
